Effective July 2026
The short version: Ripplet collects nothing. Everything stays on your device.
Your game progress — stars earned, levels completed, unlocked ponds and lanterns, and your settings — is stored only on your device, in the app's local storage. It is never uploaded anywhere, because Ripplet has no servers and makes no network connections of its own.
Ripplet offers one optional purchase ("Unlock Everything") that opens the rest of the game. The transaction is processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. Ripplet never sees your payment details, name, or Apple ID — the app only receives Apple's anonymous confirmation that the purchase belongs to this device's App Store account, which it uses to unlock the content. Restoring a purchase works the same way.
The soundtrack (music by Eric Matyas, soundimage.org) is bundled inside the app and plays locally. Nothing about your listening is tracked or transmitted.
Ripplet does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children — because it collects no information at all.
If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new effective date.
